Using the DVOI.COM Home Page
Quite a few people have asked us about the idea behind the DVOI.COM
home page design. The featured images were contributed
by an anonymous DVOI.COM user, and we liked them. Of course the page
design is subject to change over time, but here's an example of how
you would use the 2004 edition of http://dvoi.com.
Note: The following example should work with any modern computer operating system that has a graphical user interface (GUI), such as Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Professional.
Let's assume that you have a fairly recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- Go to your Windows computer, and start the Internet Explorer browser.
- Point the browser at the DVOI.COM home page, i.e.,
http://dvoi.com. 
Position (and resize if necessary) the browser window so that it doesn't
interfere with whatever you'll do with your computer. (See the
Figure.)
- You can also use the multipane quadruplet viewer if you prefer using Web browsers in full-screen mode. (A screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or better recommended.)
- Sit back and watch the DVOI.COM home page for some time. We think people need to relax. Really.
