The EUB database stores and shows articles contributed by bassists and luthiers.
You do not need to be a "registered user" to use the database. A login account is automatically created for you when you first post an article. You can use the login account whenever you wish to update your data. A login password is required, but one will be automatically and swiftly generated for you upon request. (See Updating Your Article below.)
The database uses your e-mail address to keep track of your article and your login account, because e-mail is usually the only means of bassist-to-bassist communication in a project like this. You can post multiple articles and edit them later. As long as you use the same e-mail address for this database, you'll be using the same login account.
Note: Your e-mail address will never be disclosed without your permission.
Note: The EUB database supports small-screen web browsers found on some mobile handheld devices.
The EUB database is an open project. Bass players and builders are most welcome to post messages and photos:
To update your article in the EUB database, follow these steps:
You'll be prompted for your user ID and password. The user ID is the e-mail address that you entered when you posted the article.
Note: If you wish to update an existing luthier profile, and if you don't have a login account (i.e., you've never posted to the database), the procedure above won't work. Please use the luthier directory manager instead.
If you ever need to change your login account profile (e.g., your login password or user ID), use the account manager. You can also change your name or home page URL shown in your article.
The EUB database currently uses RSS 2.0 to maintain a list of new articles.
You can use any RSS reader software (or news aggregator) to retrieve the headlines and summaries of new articles:
They are automatically updated whenever an article is added to the database.
