This is a bass that I had for many years. My dad played it for many years. Now I had it restored by Ray Ramírez in Puerto Rico, and it's like new again. I have being practicing and getting back in shape. The bass sounds great.

I have a 1960 Ampeg Baby Bass that my dad bought in NY before I was born in 1961. Anyways he neglected the bass for many years, and this past November I contracted Mr. Ramírez to restore the instrument. I have to tell you that he did a great job. It looks like a new 1960 bass again with all its lust and charm. The original neck was unfortunatly replaced with a new one because the original was cracked beyond repair, but the new neck looks as good or better and with the same quality. It was money well spend and now Im back practicing my Salsa music that I love. Thank you, Ray.
