This bass just has to be the coolest-looking Electric Upright on the planet! Other than that, it needed quite some modification before it was really playable, mainly the unbelievably thick neck had to be sanded down about 2cm!! After replacing the stupidly-designed endpin with a chair´s leg, putting on new strings and adjusting the whole caboodle, it played quite decently.
Placing the right thumb takes getting used to a little. Sound needs some knob twiddling before it changes from fretless-on steroids to somewhat-like-an-acoustic-double-bass. It's one magnetic PU even makes slap audible- dunno how, but it does. It´s great to play on stage- no feedback, heavy enough for not spinning and hopping around, yet light enough for serious posing, and, most important, looking cooler than every other EUB except maybe the Sojing "Crazy 8".
