Since it's birthdate one year ago i dreamded about this bass. After reading Kevin Millard review and after selling my Aria SWB02 I have bought this bass. It sound really cool with a lot of sustain.

There are 3 basic sounds:
  1. Arco mode with plenty of warm and latin thump pizz like a Baby Bass.
  2. Pizz mode a long sustaining sound with some growl.
  3. Magnetic p.u mode a kind of fretless bass blending it with other modes combine warm and clean tones.

The genuine strings are kind of half round electric bass strings very bright but too raspy for my fingers, so i wait for a true uprite bass set helicore light pizzicato. The tripod mounting is ok, i would prefer a endpin option, but on stage i can play electric bass and double bass in the same song.

I'd like to hear other NS design owner.

p.s Ns design online service is fine Ned and his team are gentlemen and can help you by e-mail. Ned is a Bass designer living legend like Leo Fender, Alembic or Clevinger.
