Hi.
I play electric bass guitar in a band right now.And I am planning on buying an acoustic upright bass very soon and was wanting to know of a good source online that I can find info on them.

I'm looking for information such as what makes up a good bass as well as information on developing a good style for playing the instrument.

Also...Someone I know is planning on selling a bass that has been made from plywood.I don't know much about what kinds of wood make good basses.So if anyone knows if that is good or bad I would appreciate the feedback

And if anyone knows of any good web sites could you PLEASE let me know?
