You probably figured it out; it is common to lay two or more tracks for acoustic instruments, using "traditional" microphones and "contact" microphones; how many to use? At least two, one "traditional" microphone at a "sweet" spot, and one contact mic in the bridge or some "sweet" spot on the instrument; I use pzm mics for the "traditional" mics;
