Electric Upright Bass Database

I waqs planning on using some sort of strong aluminum which is fairly cheap, maybe 40$ total for the whole bass. Why avoid screws? I like the idea of a eub that is modular and can be taken apart quickly. I am not concerned much with acoustic richness or sound preservation, I plan to use the eub as a sound source to be processed in some of my computer programs. I can add and subtract to the acoustics as needed.
