Francois,  When my GK-112 died, I tried 7 different amps that were available where I live.  SWR, Fender, Peavey, Eden, Marshall, Trace Elliot, and Ampeg.  IMHO the GK was the best for the EUB as well as UB.  I bought another GK-112.  Also, when I owned an Ampeg Baby Bass, it made it sound better than it ever did before.  It's a small amp, only 26 pounds, but if a bigger amp is needed for me,anyway, PA will be provided!  (if you know what I mean)
