I'm a professionnal bass player who plays electric bass-guitar and acoustic upright bass. I have some problems with my acoustic bass (bad bass from east-germany) because not enough sustain and not enough dynamic compared to the electric bass guitar, when I play both in a concert. Even when I use only acoustic, I have some problems of dynamic when the drummer when the drummer plays low and then loud. And also: I have babies and my car is not enough wide when I have to go with them and with my instruments.
So I had this idea to buy an electric upright, or if I don't find one wich is not too expensive for me, to build it, why not?
