Most of the time, when a musician wants to amplify his or her acoustic bass, it is mainly through a small amp for a minimal volume boost that doesnt conflict too much with the natural sound of the bass.  My situation is quite different.  I play in a LOUD setting.  Try ~8 members with 2 8X10s bass cabs, fender twins, and Roland JCs (loudest amp ever). How should I go about amplifying my sound to match this sort of thing? What pick-up is the best? Any suggestions on amps?

My current set up:
Fishman bp100 (terrible I know, but I plan on soon upgrading to the Full Circle. I want to also know what else is out there)
Acoustic Model 220 with Vintage Ampeg B40 4X10

I stuff my f-holes to reduce feedback and point my bass towards corners (helps too, something about destructive inteference of the soundwaves probably, I dont know)

Im sure an EUB would be ideal, but I just dont have 4000$ to spend on a decent one. Suggestions would be appreciated though.
