clic.net>I've found that the arco variety of the Helicores is the only one that I like.
The Heavy gauge E was well matched to the Original Flexocor A I was using.
However, I switched to Forte gauge Jargars for the A, D and G, and the medium gauge arco Helicore E matches better.
BTW, I strongly recommend the Forte Jargars if you look for a warm, gut-like tone with little sustain.
They're the most gut-like of all non-gut bass strings I ever tried!
