hotmail.com>I want to begin construction of an EUB, but I have some questions for you players out there. Will the scale length of the bass effect the tone? Bass guitar length is 34", while a typical upright's length is 41". Also, If I do make a 34" scale bass, can I use flatwound bass guitar strings and expect to get the same tone as upright strings?
