Can anyone make suggestions as to an alternative for Thomastik spirocore strings. I have a brand new Azola Mini Baby Bass (foam filled ash body) with the Dual Piezo instead of the diaphram (latin) pick up. The E, A, and D strings have a nice round tone with a good thud/thump and a sustain which is not overly long.

The G string however sounds more like the tone I get from my fretless Zon Bass guitar. I would like more thud/thump and less fly like buzzing/sustain from the G string... Please help...I play pizz only at the moment.
